Ingredients:
1 puso ng saging (banana heart), cut in strips and soaked in hot water and salt to prevent it from turning black.
2 tbsp shrimp paste (bagoong)
1 med onion (sliced)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1/2 cup vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
some pork or dried anchovies
Procedure:
Squeeze the banana heart (puso ng saging).
Saute garlic, onions and shrimp paste in a tbsp of cooking oil for 2 minutes. Stir in the pork or anchovies. Then, put the banana heart. Stir a little more. Now, add the vinegar, salt and a dash of pepper. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
